November 12, 2023 - Norton Concert Series, West Palm Beach, FL

Duo Gastesi-Bezerra returns to the Norton to perform the music Erik Satie composed for the concert halls as well as the dance halls of Paris a century ago. They will also present works by later composers whom Satie influenced, from John Cage and Phillip Glass to Beatriz Arzamendi and Justin Rubin. Duo Gastesi-Bezerra will a concert of contemporary music inspired by the environment. Part of the international concert series Climate Keys, the concert is presented in conjunction with the special exhibition Earth Works. The program features works by composers Michel Lysight, Ricardo Tacuchian, Lola Perrin, and Fabio Mengozzi.
