The Piano Duo Gastesi-Bezerra will be performing at CCSN’s 5th International New Music Festival in Las Vegas! Duo Gastesi-Bezerra will be featured at UniRio’s New Music Series on 18 June 2007 at 7:00 p.m. On the program, works by Vladimir Tosic, Tim Thompson, Ricardo Tacuchian, Marlene Woodward-Cooper, Piotr Lachert, Symeon Waseen, and Carme Fernández-Vidal. November 23, 2007 – Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Holmes Beach, FL

Piano Duo Gastesi-Bezerra will perform in concert at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church on Anna Maria Island at 3:00 p.m. The church is located at Palm and Marina Drives two miles north of Manatee Avenue at the free Island Trolley’s northbound stop no. 27. This performance will feature traditional works for piano four hands by Mozart and Debussy plus exciting contemporary duets by Charles Griffin (movements from his From the Faraway Nearby), Marlene Woodward-Cooper (Deceptions), and Ronaldo Miranda (Variações Sérias). Duo Gastesi-Bezerra’s first Serbian tour! They will be playing on 28 December at the Studentski Kulturni Centar in Belgrade at 8:00 p.m. and at Novi Sad’s City Hall on 29 December at 7:00 p.m. Programs will include twelve Serbian premieres! Among them, works by Dimitri Cervo, Carme Fernández-Vidal, Charles Griffin, Piotr Lachert, Terry Winter Owens, Justin Rubin, Rodolfo Coelho de Souza, Ricardo Tacuchian, Tim Thompson , and Marlene Woodward-Cooper. Duo Gastesi-Bezerra will present a lecture recital entitled "In Search of the Feminine Voice in Recent Piano Duets” at the 51st National Conference of The College Music Society on Saturday morning. The lecture recital will include selections by Carme Fernández-Vidal (“Tacomarraco”), Marlene Woodward-Cooper (“Sombras”), and Terry Winter Owens (“Ariadne’s Crown”). On Friday evening they will be among the guest performers of “50 for the 50th,” a concert of 50 pieces commissioned in commemoration of CMS’s Jubilee.
